Early Books at the Beinecke Library offers workshops, lectures, and seminar that are free of charge and except where noted, open to the public. These programs largely deal with how to read and understand the book before the modern age.
Workshops in the Archival Sciences
These full day workshops are designed to give graduate students and faculty training in specific methods for researching medieval texts. Workshop enrollment is limited to 15 students per session.

The Beinecke Library is a member of the Digital Scriptorium, a website that seeks to gather many of the medieval manuscript holdings in the United States into a single searchable site. The Digital Scriptorium was founded by and is directed by Consuelo Dutschke.
